The Gallery’s History and Evolution

Vielmetter Los Angeles began its journey on Wilshire Boulevard, before moving to a larger space in Culver City in 2010. In 2019, the gallery made its most recent move to a sprawling 24,000 square foot location in downtown LA, solidifying its position as a major player in the city’s thriving art scene.

Over the years, the gallery has maintained a strong international presence, with a second branch called Susanne Vielmetter Berlin Projects operating in Germany from 2007 to 2009. This global reach has allowed Vielmetter Los Angeles to cultivate a diverse and dynamic roster of artists, representing a wide range of mediums and perspectives.

The Vielmetter Artists

The gallery’s commitment to showcasing a balanced representation of male and female artists has been a hallmark of its programming.
